Description
Drumstick, also known as Moringa or Moringa Oleifera, is an elongated and slender vegetable measuring around 40-45cm in length. They have slight ridges that pass through the length of the veggie. The pods are green in color when they are young and turn brownish as they mature. The pods have a mild, delicate, and slightly earthy taste; they also absorb flavors from spices when cooked. Drumstick is primarily used in South Indian dishes, including curries, sambar, dal, chutney, stir-fries, and others.
